Chris is a multicultural, internationally credentialed, mental health practitioner with a professional background expanding over 15 years, ranging from organizational psychology consulting for Fortune 500 companies, to public mental health counseling in marginalized communities.

Utilizing a holistic approach to mental health, Chris leverages a combination of psychodynamic theory, rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) interventions to guide and challenge his clients towards achieving their goals and living more authentic and fulfilling lives.

As a person of color, an immigrant, and a fierce advocate for diversity and inclusion, Chris’ expertise includes working with the unique challenges faced in alternative lifestyles and the LGBTQIA+, Kink & BDSM, Polyamory and ethical non-monogamy communities. Chris is a vocal and passionate proponent of generating awareness and providing education on topics surrounding social issues, human sexuality, and breaking down stigma in alternative lifestyles and mental health.

Chris is the owner of Polaris Behavioral Services, a 100% virtual counseling practice, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health challenges and relationship issues in the state of Texas for adults over the age of 18.
